Transforming Challenges into 180+ AI Opportunities
Oct 1, 2025
At Navigator AI Advisory, we often meet organisations that know they need to embrace AI but feel overwhelmed about where to start. One of those organisations was iRAP, a global non-profit dedicated to improving road safety worldwide.
The Challenge
iRAP operates across many countries, which means dealing with multiple languages, heavy administrative tasks, and large volumes of documentation. These barriers slowed their workflows and made it difficult for the team to see how AI could support them. They had a strong vision for 2030, but no clear path to get there.
Our Approach
We partnered closely with iRAP to run discovery workshops with their teams around the world. These workshops helped uncover the real bottlenecks in their day-to-day operations and highlighted where AI could make the biggest difference. Instead of offering generic solutions, we worked together to build a tailored roadmap that matched their goals and resources.
The outcome was not just a list of ideas but a step-by-step plan that prioritised impact and feasibility. In total, we identified more than 180 AI opportunities across 20 different business functions.
The Solution
From our work, several focus areas stood out:
AI Support Agent – to reduce administrative effort and provide faster assistance across teams.
Light Star Rating Methodology – embedding AI into their safety evaluation processes.
Governance Framework – ensuring AI adoption stayed transparent, compliant, and ethical.
Accreditation and Training – equipping staff and partners with the knowledge to apply AI effectively.
Automation – streamlining manual, time-consuming tasks to free up resources.
These solutions were designed not just to save time but to help iRAP become an AI-enabled organisation aligned with their long-term mission.
The Outcome
The result was a partnership-driven roadmap that gave iRAP clarity and confidence about their AI journey. Instead of being weighed down by documentation and admin, their teams now have a structured pathway to embed AI across their global operations.
For us, this project shows what is possible when AI strategy starts with collaboration. By taking the time to understand the challenges on the ground, we were able to create practical, actionable solutions that will help iRAP focus on what matters most: saving lives through safer roads.
